She majored in Fine Arts at the Pratt Institute in NYC.
She often designed for politicians and royalty, including the infamous blue wool dress Eleanor Roosevelt wore to meet George VI .
Her husband J. Sanford Potter died in 1994.
Like artist Jack Kirby , she too graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York City.
