ABOUT CLAY JOHNSTON

NFL linebacker that was taken by the Los Angeles Rams during the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He then signed with the Carolina Panthers in September 2020. One year later, he was acquired by the Cincinnati Bengals via waivers in November 2021.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Baylor University . While at Baylor, he was named to the Second Team All-Big 12.

His father, Kent, and Brett Favre are great friends. In fact, Brett Favre was his father's best man during his parents' wedding.

Although he was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he grew up living with his family in the Abilene, Texas area. He is one of four brothers.
