Right-handed relief pitcher that was taken as a second round pick in the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers . A few years later, he was traded to the New York Yankees in August of 2022. He has also played for the Washington Nationals during his professional baseball career.

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Texas Tech University . He played college baseball at Texas Tech from 2017 until 2020

He finished his Texas Tech career with top 10 program rankings in career ERA and saves. He's also the third highest drafted pitcher in Texas Tech program history.

He was born and raised living with his parents in the Fort Worth, Texas area. He is one of two brothers.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Joey Gallo .
