ABOUT CLAYTON STANLEY

Known as a great server, this volleyball player won gold at the 2008 Olympics and also competed in the 2004 Olympics.

He attended Kaiser High School in Hawaii; the school did not have a volleyball team.

He played volleyball at the University of Hawaii.

His father Jon Stanley played volleyball in the 1968 Olympics.

American swimmer Michael Phelps won a record-breaking eight gold medals at the 2008 in which Stanley competed.
