Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays during the sixth round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to his professional career, he played college baseball at Mississippi State University . He only pitched at Mississippi State for one year.
He initially began his collegiate baseball career at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. He pitched there for two seasons before transferring to Mississippi State.
He collected a career-high 62.1 innings pitched during the 2021 minor league season. He also recorded a career-high 104 strikeouts and 11 saves.
Growing up, he lived with his family in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area. He is the oldest of three siblings.
He is a former Mississippi State collegiate athlete just like Dak Prescott .
