ABOUT COLE IRVIN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the fifth round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Oakland Athletics via trade in January 2021.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Oregon where he was named a member of the First Team All-Pac-12 in 2016.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Kansas City Royals on May 12, 2019.

He grew up living with his parents, Chris and Sandy, and his brother Dale.

He played alongside Sergio Romo as a member of the Athletics during the 2021 MLB season.
