ABOUT COLE YOUNG

Former first rounder that was initially selected by the Seattle Mariners during the 2022 MLB Draft. Just a few years later, he was named one of the Mariners top 100 MLB prospects. He primarily plays the position of second base and shortstop.

He is a graduate of North Allegheny High School. He originally committed to Duke University although he decided to go to the majors instead.

During his first major league game, he recorded the game-winning RBI. The final score of the game was 5-4.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
