ABOUT COLIN COTTERILL
An English crime novelist and cartoonist, he is most famous for his Dr. Siri and Jimm Juree mystery books. He received a CWA award for his Dr. Siri Series and a Prix SNCF Du Polar for his 2004 novel, The Coroner's Lunch.
He taught in Israel, Australia, the United States, and Japan before settling in Southeast Asia.
He began drawing socially-themed cartoons for The Nation in 2004.
He was born in London, England. When not writing, he worked for child protective organizations that provided aid to the victims of child trafficking.
His American contemporary, Jeffery Deaver , also became a well-known crime and mystery writer.
