ABOUT COLTON WELKER

Professional infielder that was drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Rockies' rookie affiliate team the Grand Junction Rockies.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

He made his major league debut playing against the San Francisco Giants on September 8, 2021.

He is a native of Coral Springs, Florida.

He played alongside Charlie Blackmon as a member of the Rockies during the 2021 MLB season.
