ABOUT COLUMBA MARMION
Irish monk who was the third abbot of Maredsous Abbey, a monastery in Belgium.
He was a professor of Metaphysics at Holy Cross College.
He had his monastery equipped with electricity and central heating, which was rare for the time.
Three of his sisters became nuns.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2000.
