ABOUT CONOR CHAPLIN

Soccer star and athlete who has played for organizations such as Ipswich Town, Barnsley, Coventry City, and Portsmouth. At the end of the 22/23 League One season, he and Jonson Clarke-Harris were awarded the Sky Bet League One Golden Boot.

At the young age of six, he joined Portsmouth's youth categories.

In the year 2013, he was offered a two-year scholarship contract with Portsmouth. In the year 2019, he recovered from an ankle injury. He tore his ligament in his ankle and dealt with complications which set him back in his recovery. In June of 2023, he signed a new three-year contract at Ipswich.

In October of 2023, he and his girlfriend welcomed a son. His father Mark played soccer for Horsham. His grandfather and his brothers played soccer for Lancing Colts.

In the year 2023, Ed Sheeran requested a visit to see him and his teammates after watching an Ipswich victory.
