American professional football linebacker for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. Although he remained undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, he was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent. He played college football at the University of Washington .
He finished his rookie year with the LA Rams with 20 combined tackles in 16 games and one start. He won the Carroll Rosenbloom Memorial Award as the team's rookie of the year.
He was born and raised in Spring Valley, California. He and his wife have two children.
He joined Sam Darnold on the Caroline Panthers in March 2022.
