ABOUT COURTNEY LAPLANTE

Canadian rock singer who rose to fame after assuming lead vocal duties for the metalcore band IWrestledABearOnce. With the band she is recognized for the singles "Boat Paddles" and "Gift of Death." She later went on to become the frontman of Spiritbox .

She provided lead vocals for the band Unicron before joining IWrestledABearOnce in 2012.

She recorded vocals for IWABO's third studio album Late For Nothing.

She was raised in Alabama and moved to Canada when she was 15 years old. In 2016 she married guitarist Mike Stringer; together, they founded the band Spiritbox.

In 2012 she replaced Krysta Cameron as the lead vocalist of IWABO.
