He graduated from the College of Charleston in 2009 with a degree in Finance and later graduated from the Charleston School of Law.
He won a National Championship in his high school business competition.
He grew up in Delaware. He began dating fellow Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo . In 2021 he confirmed he was in a relationship with co-star, Paige DeSorbo . They later split up in December 2024.
He met Vanessa Hudgens in New York City in April 2015.
