ABOUT CRISTIAN TERRAZAS

Percussionist and member of the Grupo Montez de Durango, a Chicago-based Durango band. He plays the tambora, a two-sided drum of Dominican origin.

He joined the band in 2015 at the age of 18.

Two more of his brothers joined the band in 2015 with him -- Bobby, who's played keyboards and Abel, who's played the tuba.

His father Jose Luis Terrazas Sr. founded the band in 1996 and his brother Jose Luis Jr. is also a member.

Diana Reyes and Saul Alarcon are also duranguense performers.
