Cyrus Eaton

ABOUT CYRUS EATON

Canadian-born wealthy investment banker, philanthropist, and anti-Cold War agitator.

He attended college with the plan of becoming involved in the Baptist ministry.

He earned his fortune after World War I by investing in the growing automobile industry and related companies.

In 1957, he married his second wife Anne Kinder Jones. He had a total of seven children. He was taught to farm by his father Joseph Howe Eaton.

He was one of the largest owners of Charles Goodyear 's tire and rubber company.
