ABOUT DAEHYUN KIM

South Korean artist known for drawing his "Moonassi" series. He started the series in 2008. He uses heavy lines, black and white, and the human figure throughout the series. He exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions in New York, Miami, Paris, London, Bangkok, Singapore, Oslo, and Romania. His art has earned him over 80,000 followers on his Instagram account.

He studied Korean traditional painting at the College of Fine Arts, Hongik University. He graduated with a BFA in Oriental Painting.

He is represented by the Hugo & Marie creative agency. His popular moonothing Instagram account consists of his own artwork as well as photos that offer updates from his art exhibitions.

He is from South Korea.
