ABOUT DAMARIS EGURROLA

Professional soccer player best known for playing as a midfielder for French Division 1 Féminine club Lyon and the Netherlands national team.

She spent her early childhood in Orlando, Florida. When her father retired in the year 2006, her family relocated to his homeland in eastern Biscay in Spain's Basque Country. Aside from soccer, she also took part in tennis when she was young.

In the year 2015, she made her debut with Athletic Bilbao. She moved to Everton in 2020, then signed for Lyon in January of 2021. Her Instagram account damarisegurrola has gained 40,000 followers.

She is the second of three children. She was born to a Dutch mother and a Spanish-Basque father named Pablo Egurrola Osa.

She has played alongside teammate Izzy Christiansen for Everton.
