ABOUT DAMON HINES

Young Artist Award-nominated actor of both film and television, popularly known for his roles in feature films like Scrooged , What's Love Got to do With It , and all 4 installments of the Lethal Weapon franchise. He also appeared on episodes of the highly esteemed television series St. Elsewhere , L.A. Law , Sister, Sister , Chicago Hope , Happy Endings , and more.

He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1998, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He later went on to earn his master's degree in speech communication and rhetoric from California State University: Los Angeles, as well as a doctor of education (Ed.D.) degree in higher education/administration from the University of Southern California .

As early as 2008, he began working as a professor and senior lecturer at institutions such as Saddleback College, Los Angeles City College , and his alma matter Loyola Marymount University, where he also taught communication studies.

He is married to Maribel Hines, with whom he has a son named Joaquin.

He played the role of Nick Murtaugh in each of the 4 Lethal Weapon movies opposite Mel Gibson , Danny Glover , and Joe Pesci .
