He was contacted by Discovery Studios while he was working at Littlepeople Bigdesigns. They interviewed him, and without thinking anything would come of it, Discovery offered the opportunity for a reality show.
He was formerly the president of the Rotary Club of Greater Severna Park.
He and his wife Michelle are the parents of three children: Jack and fraternal twins Cate and CeCe.
He and Larry Caputo both would become reality personalities on the channel TLC.
