ABOUT DAN WOODGATE

English musician and songwriter who is known as the drummer for the ska band Madness and American rock band Voice of the Beehive. He began a solo career in 2015.

He started playing drums when he was 12 years old but worked as a laborer for years before playing professionally.

He joined Madness in 1978, replacing original drummer Gavin Rodgers.

He has a younger brother, Nick. He was once married to punk rocker Jane Crockford. He remarried Siobhan Fitzpatrick in 1997. Their children are Iona and Mary.

Chris Foreman was also a member of Madness.
