ABOUT DANIEL AMARTEY

Veteran men's center-back that has played soccer professionally in countries such as Denmark, Sweden, and England. He is best known for his seven-year stint with the English Premier League squad Leicester City . He has also played for the Ghanian men's national team during his career.

He first discovered his passion for playing soccer as a young boy coming up. As a kid, he attended the International Allies youth soccer academy.

He made his official international team debut while playing against Senegal on March 23, 2015. Unfortunately, he and his team lost the match with a score of 2-1. On July 21, 2023, he signed a contract with Süper Lig club Beşiktaş.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Accra, Ghana.

He played alongside Jamie Vardy as a member of Leicester during the 2022 EPL club season.
