Professional relief pitcher that was first signed by the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in 2013. He has also pitched in the Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds organizations. In 2020, he was selected to play for the Mexican men's national team during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

He initially signed his first professional contract with the Rangers as a 17-year-old. He has also pitched in the Mexican League.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Atlanta Braves on April 8, 2022, as a member of the Reds. He pitched just one inning and recorded two strikeouts. He posts primarily family content on his d_duarte_53 Instagram account.
