YouTuber known for his time as head of production for the gaming group known as The Creatures , which was active until July 2017. He was also an editor for the group during its run. He plays games and creates machinimas for his YouTube channel DanzNewzMachinima and is a filmmaker.

He started a blog called Dan's News when he was 12 years old.

He and his brother Thomas were working on a movie together called Desperate Measures but ran into some complications. They host a podcast on Daniel's channel called The Gidlow Movie Show.

He was born in Niagara Falls, New York, later relocating to Garner, North Carolina. He has a sister named Kelly who has a daughter named Pennelope.
