His Food Network digital series, "Dan Can Bake It" was launched in the year 2018. He is the author of Bake Your Heart Out: Foolproof Recipes to Level Up Your Home Baking.

He studied business at Marymount Manhattan College.

He shares baking recipes on his bakedbydan Instagram account, where he has gained upwards of 230,000 followers. His Baked By Dan Facebook account also features recipes and has racked up more than 100,000 followers.

He learned how to bake from his mother and grandmother.
