ABOUT DANIELLE CORMACK

Known for her starring role as Alison Raynor on the soap opera Shortland Street, she also appeared as Ephiny in Xena: Warrior Princess. For her leading role in a New Zealand-produced series called The Cult, she won a Best Actress Qantas Television Award.

Early in her career, she starred in a television series titled Gloss and in a short film called Snap.

A stage actress as well as a screen actress, she appeared in Auckland Theatre Company productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, The Shape of Things, and The Blue Room.

Her marriage to fellow New Zealand-born actor Pana Hema Taylor produced a son named Te Ahi Ka. She also has an older son named Ethan from a previous relationship.

She and Olivia Tennet were both members of the cast of the science fiction series Maddigan's Quest.
