ABOUT DANNION BRINKLEY

Famous for his research on and personal experience with near death experiences, this New Age Writer published a popular 1994 work titled Saved By the Light. His other bestselling books include Peace in the Light and The Secrets of the Light.

When he was twenty-five years old, he became the victim of a lightning strike and was considered deceased for a period of nearly thirty minutes. In his thirties and forties, he had two more near death experiences as the result of, respectively, a heart attack and brain surgery.

He claimed that, during his near death experiences, he envisioned such major, future world events as the Chernobyl nuclear plant disaster, the end of the Soviet Union, and the Iraq War.

He was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina.

He and fellow New Age author Brad Steiger both claimed to have had near death experiences.
