ABOUT DANNY JOHNSON

Veteran NFL cornerback that was originally signed by the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He later re-signed with the Commanders on a multi-year deal in March 2023.

Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at Southern University. Following his 2018 season, he earned an invite to the NCAA Reese's Senior Bowl.

After being invited to the 2018 NCAA Senior Bowl, he became the first player in Southern's program history to receive an invitation in over 20 years. As of 2022, there have only been 83 players drafted into the NFL from Southern.

He was born and raised in the Jackson, Louisiana area.

He played alongside Terry Mclaurin as a member of the Commanders during the 2022 NFL season.
