Outfielder who spent the majority of his career in center field; he played 12 season in the majors, hitting a career-high 21 home runs in only 359 at-bats in 1991.
He played baseball at Culver City High School in California.
He hit .312 in 1994 but compiled a lifetime average of .257.
He and his wife Robin have four children: Alexandre, Adian, Arianna, and Tatum.
Right-handed pitcher Dwight Gooden was his teammate on the New York Mets.
