ABOUT DARRYL POLLARD

Cornerback who played in the NFL from 1987-1993 for the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He played college football at Weber State University, where he was originally a running back, before converting to cornerback as a sophomore.

He won Super Bowls XXIII and XXIV with the 49ers.

He was born in Ellsworth, Maine.

Part of his San Francisco years were spent playing for coach Bill Walsh .
