Left-handed reliever that was first signed by the Boston Red Sox as an international free agent in 2013. He was later named one of the Red Sox's top 100 MLB prospects in 2019. His baseball fame has earned him more than 20,000 followers on his Instagram account.

He initially began his professional career playing for the Dominican Summer League Red Sox. He played in 14 games with the team before being promoted.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on April 23, 2019. He pitched just over two innings and recorded four strikeouts.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela.

He played alongside Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi during his MLB debut.
