Multiple Grammy Award-winning music producer who helped create many of country music's biggest hits. He has worked with a number of popular and renowned musical artists including Chris Stapleton , Brandi Carlile , Reba McEntire , and The Highwaymen . He has also contributed to the soundtrack of A Star Is Born . He produced Lady Gaga 's track "Always Remember Us This Way."
He worked as a session player in Atlanta, Georgia.
He had a residency at RCA Studio A on Nashville's Music Row before moving on to be a solo producer. He has also worked as a music producer and creative consultant on films such as Elvis and The Eyes Of Tammy Faye.
He married fashion executive Ledja Cobb. His cousin is Brent Cobb .
He is friends with Shooter Jennings and they have collaborated on various albums.
