ABOUT DAVE EWERS

Zimbabwean rugby union flanker and number 8 best known for playing in the Aviva Premiership for the Exeter Chiefs. He previously played for the Cornish Pirates in the championship on a dual registration.

He attended Hillcrest Preparatory School in Mutare. He also attended the AASE program run by Ivybridge Community College in the years 2009 and 2010.

In February of 2016, he was called up to England's 2016 Six Nations squad. In March of 2023, it was announced that he would be joining Ulster Rugby for the start of the 2023/24 season in the URC.

At the age of 13, his family left Zimbabwe and returned to his English grandparents in Ivybridge. His father was a teacher and working on a farm at the time. He's in a relationship with Olivia Mcintosh.

He's played alongside teammate Jack Nowell for the Exeter Chiefs.
