Louisville singer-songwriter who became known as a contestant on season 11 of the reality singing competition show The Voice. His album Heavyweight debuted in the Top 100 of the iTunes Pop Chart.

He previously worked as a medical device salesman before joining the show.

He became the first contestant on season 11 of The Voice to get all four coaches to turn their chairs around unanimously.

He's originally from Louisville, Kentucky. He was a former swimmer for Notre Dame.

Upon joining The Voice he was originally assigned to judge Alicia Keys before switching to Adam Levine .
