English guitarist and songwriter for the heavy metal band Iron Maiden .

He was a member of an English skinhead gang as a teenager. His first band was called Stone Free.

He is one of the original members of Iron Maiden and has appeared on every one of the band's releases.

He has one daughter, Tasha, with his wife Tamar.

His playing style was heavily influenced by Jimi Hendrix .
