ABOUT DAVID ANTHONY

Stand-up comedian and writer known for his podcasts The Dollop and Walking the Room. He has also written for the IFC original series Maron.

He attended UC Santa Barbara. He first moved to New York City, to pursue stand-up comedy, doing open mics and gigs there during the 1990s.

He has appeared on various late night talk shows as a featured stand-up act. These have included Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC and The Late Late Show on CBS. He has also appeared as an actor on Maron , in addition to his writing duties.

He was born and raised in the San Francisco area. He has a son named Finn Anthony with his wife Heather.

He has appeared alongside fellow comedian Scott Aukerman on his TV show, Comedy Bang! Bang!
