David Backes

ABOUT DAVID BACKES

American right winger who was named to his first All-Star team during the 2010 season, representing the St. Louis Blues. After ten seasons in St. Louis, he signed with the Boston Bruins in 2016.

He was a finalist for the Minnesota Mr. Hockey award during his senior year of high school.

He helped the U.S. win an Olympic silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver games.

He married Kelly Backes.

He won an Olympic silver medal with international teammate, Tim Thomas .
