Professional pitcher that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the 35th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates via trade in January 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Tri-City Dust Devils.

He made his major league debut pitching against the San Francisco Giants on September 1, 2019 as a member of the Padres.

He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His brother Will is a professional pitcher as well.

He played alongside Manny Machado as a member of the Padres during the 2019 MLB season.
