ABOUT DAVID MARTí

Makeup artist who is best known for his special effects in different films and television series. He is known for being the co-owner of DDTSFX special effects company. He shares his work on his Instagram to his over 90,000 followers.

He first began his work as a makeup artist in television in 1991 while working on the series Galeria de personatges. He then went on to work on a variety of films and garnered recognition in 2006 with work on Pan's Labyrinth . His career expanded with films such as The Orphanage and Hellboy II.

In addition to his Instagram, he runs a Youtube channel which features a variety of videos on his makeup content including making of monsters videos, time lapse work from Pan's Labyrinth , and other technical trick tip videos.

He was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain.

He is a known collaborator with Guillermo del Toro working on several of his films including Crimson Peak, Hellboy II, and Pan's Labyrinth .
