ABOUT DAVID OLNEY
Folk singer who released over 20 solo albums between 1986 and 2018.
He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but joined Simpson, Bland Simpson's band, before he could finish.
He formed a band called The X-Rays after moving to Nashville in 1973.
He grew up with an older brother.
His songs were covered by many artists, including Johnny Cash , Laurie Lewis, and Steve Earle.
