ABOUT DAVIYON NIXON

Professional defensive tackle that was drafted by the Carolina Panthers during the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Iowa where he was named Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.

While at Indian Trail High School and Academy where he was a two-sport athlete.

He recorded his first career tackle during his NFL debut playing against the New York Jets on September 12, 2021.

He grew up living with his parents in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

He played alongside Sam Darnold as a member of the Panthers during the 2021 NFL season.
