ABOUT DAWN FOSTER

Journalist who earned acclaim as a regular columnist for The Guardian. She also contributed regularly to The Independent, The Nation, and Jacobin as a staff writer.

She graduated with her degree in English literature from Warwick University.

She had her second book Where Will We Live? published in 2018. She was named to the 2017 Orwell Prize's long-list for exposing Britain's social evils.

She grew up in a low-income single-family household in Newport, South Wales.

She was named to Iain Dale's 2017 list of the UK's 100 most influential people on the left alongside Jeremy Corbyn .
