ABOUT DAYSBEL HERNáNDEZ

Major league relief pitcher, athlete, and baseball player that was initially signed by the Atlanta Braves an international free agent in 2017. In the fall of 2023, he was named a member of the Atlanta Braves postseason bullpen.

He first began his professional baseball career pitching for the Rome Braves. Shortly after being promoted from Single-A, he was then sent to the Florida Fire Frogs.

He made his official MLB debut while pitching against the Milwaukee Brewers on the date of July 23, 2023. He pitched just one inning and recorded three strikeouts. During his road to the majors, he was once named an Atlanta Braves organizational all-star.

He grew up living with his family in the country of Cuba.

He pitched alongside Chris Sale as a member of the Atlanta Braves during the 2025 MLB regular season.
