ABOUT DEAN MCCULLOUGH

Northern Irishman famous for his work with BBC Radio 1 and Gaydio. He covered issues in the LGBTQ+ community during his time at Gaydio. For BBC, he was a co-host for the Early Breakfast show before taking over Jordan North 's Friday afternoon slot in September of 2021.

Wandsworth Radio was the first station he hosted. It was a volunteer position.

He got his start at BBC Radio 1 by filling in for Clara Amfo for two days in the year 2020. Attitude Magazine awarded him the title of Top LGBTQ+ Broadcaster. He appeared as a panelist on the show Love Island : Aftersun.

He was born in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

He presented the program Sam Smith at The BBC for BBC Sounds.
