ABOUT DEBORAH THEAKER
Perhaps most well known for her role as Casey Edison on the Canadian sitcom Maniac Mansion, she is also famous for her recurring role as Madame Pokipsi on the popular 1980s series A.L.F. She also appeared in several films, including the Christopher Guest mockumentaries Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration, and Best in Show.
After attending the University of Saskatchewan, she joined the Toronto, Ontario branch of the famous The Second City improv comedy troupe.
She received a Down Beach Film Festival Award nomination for her work in the 2009 film GERALD.
She spent her early days in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. Her marriage to Darren Boyce ended in divorce in 1995.
In 2008, she appeared with Eva Longoria in the comedy movie Over Her Dead Body.
