Canadian defender who began his MLS career with D.C. United in 2009. After four years with the team, he joined Japan's Shimizu S-Pulse in 2014.

He played college soccer at the University of Alabama-Birmingham from 2005 to 2008.

He joined the Canadian national team in 2008.

He was born to Nenad and Dubravka Jakovic.

He was coached by Ben Olsen on D.C. United.
