ABOUT DENIS HUTCHINSON
Longtime South African Tour (later renamed as the Sunshine Tour) player who captured three Dunlop South African Masters wins and a South African PGA Championship.
He won the South African Open Championship as an amateur and shortly after turned professional in 1959.
He became a sports commentator for SuperSport where he earned an enormously popular reputation to become known as the "voice of golf" in South Africa.
He was born in Umtali, Rhodesia, later called Zimbabwe.
He resided in South Africa where professional golfer Ernie Els was born.
