Denis Williams
ABOUT DENIS WILLIAMS
Guyanese author and painter who studied archaeology and investigated shell middens in Guyana which was documented in the book Early Pottery on the Amazon: A Correction.
He won a two year British Council Scholarship to the Camberwell School of Art in London in 1946.
He founded the journal of the Walter Roth Museum of Anthropology called Archaeology and Anthropology in 1978.
He was born to a Guyanese family in Georgetown, Guyana.
He is an archaeologist like Harri Moora .
