ABOUT DENNIS CLONTZ
American playwright, journalist and screenwriter who is most known as the recipient of the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting in 1986.
He earned his MFA from UCLA.
He was one of the earliest recipients of the Nicoll Fellowship.
He died of lung cancer; his heirs announced publication of a posthumous collection of his plays and poems.
He attended UCLA, as did George Takei .
