Dennis Mitchell
ABOUT DENNIS MITCHELL
Track and field star who won three Olympic medals: gold in the 4x100 meter relay in 1992, bronze in the 100 meter in 1992, and silver in the 4x100 meter relay in 1996.
He ran at the University of Florida, where he was a National Champion.
He won gold medals in the 4x100 meter relay at the 1991 and 1993 World Championships.
He married fellow Olympian Damu Cherry-Mitchell, and has three children with her.
When he won his Olympic gold medal, he was relay teammates with Carl Lewis .
